Dutch Cooking Class

Like all good cooks, we will start our day at the market. And like all good Dutch, we will get to the market by bike.  With the expert assistance of our guide and cook, we will learn about typical Dutch dishes and products and traditional meals for special holidays.  Since Holland has a sizeable immigrant population with their own culinary traditions, we will also hear about foreign influences on the Dutch kitchen and  beloved imported foods.  After shopping for fresh supplies, we will bike to the cooking school where we will spend the rest of the morning and early afternoon cooking and sampling an array of Dutch dishes.  Eat as much as you want – since you will be biking back to the hotel!
