The Hague

The capital and political center of Holland, the Hague, is located only 65 km (41 miles) from the city center of Amsterdam. We will visit the Binnenhof (the Houses of Parliament) and learn about the Dutch political system.  The Hague is also the seat of the royal family and we will see several palaces such as Het Vredespaleis ( the Peacepalace where the international Court of the United Nations is seated) and Paleis Noordeinde ( where Queen Beatrix and prince Willem-Alexander work) and embassies.  For lunch we will drive to a short distance to Scheveningen, where we will relax over a glass of champagne and will eat in  the luxurious Kurhaus hotel
